Default KK, OOP on Axx flop, vs shortie

No real read on villain (that's a leak right there ), so I'll put the standard shortie "donk" stamp on him.

I hate spots like this. I'd probably just c/c down.

If villain had less than the pot/close to it I'd push and try to get him off his hand. Not sure if he would have an Ace or some wack face card though.

what better hand would he ever be folding here, regardless of action?

I check this down and call small bets. They often call with Ax so this spot sucks for you.

He has $2 more than the pot and you have $23 more than the pot... I don't see how you are not getting his $4 all in here and a fold to a shortie would be way to weak, as would c/c to showdown...

Managed to lose the HH. I figured I was gonna check call to showdown, but I ended up check-pushing the turn after he made weak bets on both streets. The chips were going in at some point anyway, so I figured there was no reason to put it off any longer.

For the results oriented, he flipped AQ.
