raise to 10-12 preflop bcoz oop

id bet this flop but it holds little hope for you if you get raised, which is unlikely imo.

Standard...this flop is often as scary for opponent as it is for you, so just cbet and take it down, and when he plays back it is an easy check/fold situation.

converter probs, ok i raised to 9 ( iknow not much more, but it looks better

and if i got called or raised, obviosuly i was planning on not putting one cent more into the pot unless the lone offheart king hits

furthermore i think you can get away w/ a smaller c-bet on a board like this...

i was trying to make it look like a set of Aces worried about the flush, if i bet to little, maybe QxQh calls or something?

basically i think you want your c-bets to look the same way they would if you flopped a really strong hand, if you floped a flush here you would want a call you might only bet 1/2 the pot, and by cbetting 1/2 the pot you make it look like you wouldn't mind too much getting called...seems contradictory but somehow it isn't...at least according to sklansky in nlt&p. what do others think about this idea??

imo this is a really bad time to rep a flopped flush. Pretty much nothing in my pfr range equates to a flooped flusyh

I disagree on not repping the flush. QQ with a queen of hearts calls down a 1/2 pot size bet, at least from what I've seen of party 50NL.

hold on a min, maybe i don't understand u, but if u agree to try to rep the flush, then don' t we want qq calling us down???

still, i wouldn't have any of the ahnds here that would make a flopped flush, because i wouldn't be reraising kqs, jTs, or any other heart scs, and its safe to say my opps know this.

seems pretty standard

the other option is check/folding instead of what is a profitable bet against most players.

Someone with AKo (K of hearts) might call the 3 bet preflop to spike an ace, you on AA if that happens is highly unlikely (case ace on the flop) so they'd probably be good. QQ with a Q of hearts can put you on a range of hands that also might include the K of hearts preflop, but your flop bet negates that possibility, and they might call to see if they can hit their high flush and stack you.

You're really questioning the possibility of people in online poker chasing down draws with poor odds? For that reason I always try to make it prohibitively expensive to do so, which is why a $12 bet into $19 is far better than an $8 bet, even with a 3 flushed board.
