I had a horrific day today. A lot of hands I analyzed afterward and I'm sure I played them fine, but just got bad beated/coolered. A few hands I'm similarly sure I played god-awful =[ Then there are a bunch ranging from "I think this was probably bad" to "I have no idea wtf to do here" and these are the ones I'm about to post. Most of them I lost, ldo, some of them I folded, and some of them I actually won.

I got half-way through hand 1 and wondered why you were even posting the hands.

Possibly because the terrible session is messing with my self-confidence.

Even if they're simple, I still appreciate comments.

Come to think, I've made similar posts in the past after bad sessions. Possibly a bad idea and I don't mind it being pointed out.

Hand 1: I'm sticking it in, he could easily have KQ here, pair + draw type of hands
Hand 2: I'm folding because whatever he has beats a pair
Hand 3: Hands that you're ahead of - 99 exactly/bluffs/semi-bluffs
if you call the flop, you should call the river, imo because all of his flop range just missed
Hand 4: Dump preflop, if anything because you have shitty position so things like the flop happen. Reading the board we know that river card didn't improve his hand, he improved either on the flop or the turn. But the raise is so small you can't really fold since he's short-stacked. I'd pot it on the turn because I feel like with this board a lot more hands pay me off.

Agreed, except one thing...
In hand 2, why would you want to bet half pot? (checking back is fine, and I would have thought betting 3/4 pot is fine too).


Incidentally, I think given your read and the miniraise preflop, playing 87s was fine and you played the hand well as long as you folded that river.

I think this type of post complicates tilt and isn't good for you long-term.
