Worst thing here was the 25¢ bet on the flop. You either decide to represent, or you check. At higher levels this will NOT stand. You bet 1xBB into me after I raised 3xBB preflop and I'm going to come over the top of you on that 6xBB pot. You're lucky your opponent was stupid enough to allow that nonsense to go on. It is nonsense. Don't ever do it again. EVER. It accomplishes nothing. Actually, it does accomplish something. It tells your opponent you're old and weak.
