You mean hand 3. Yeah, that's a wretched spot against shortie. Too a first approximation, he's never folding a pair, so you are probably best off check/calling all bets and hope that he bluffs. You could even check/fold since your equity isn't that great, and no implied odds.

Against a real stack, I just lead out unless villian is very aggressive. Then a c/r might be better because of the times he bets out with nothing.
