If you're wondering why I wasn't raising with the flopped flush, this guy is basically a maniac. I was taking the chance that either a heart wouldn't hit, or he didn't have the one higher heart than I had. The way he was playing, if he didn't have a big hand he'd fold if you raised him, but keep betting big if you just called.

I had a royal flush a while ago in a freeroll ... but with the monetary value and all that, this is definitely the best hand I've ever had, and the Royal only used one hole card.

The image I got at this table after this was insane, probably helped by (or helping) a crazy rush that I had after that, where I stormed up to over a grand at the table ($400 buy in). People started either folding to all of my bets, or raising me huge, scared that I'd out draw them (so it became very easy for me to avoid losing big hands). Also getting aces 3 times after this (and winning very little pots, but showing them to help my image) helped as well I'm sure.

That is the biggest pot I've ever won at any level, even though half of it was my money. That's why I say its my all around best hand I've had.

I'm really just getting use to this level. Since my bankroll has been increasing, I've been trying out the next higher level, once my bankroll is large enough to feel comfortable at it.

    Default My best

My best hand since playing on stars was a strt flush as well. I'm still at the 0.50/1.00 level, so the pot wasn't alot, around $30 after all was said and done.

It was a funny story actually, I was explaining to my roomate, who I've recently got into the online poker scene, how a strt flush draw had amongst the highest outs in poker.

What do I get as a hand shortly after the conversation, 8s 7s (bunch of preflop raising occured)

Flop comes 7d, 5s, 6s surprisingly the betting got maxed by 2 others, I just called.

Turn, 8c, again the two fish raised the pot to max

At this point I was explaing to my roomate how I had more outs than I could count at the moment (19 or something?)

what comes on the riv, the one card that made the best hand, the 9s

    The other two mucked
