Default NL$50 AQs reraised pot against tighty

Villain is 9/6/2 after 400 hands. He doesn't do anything stupid and is generally doing nothing. Is there value in a river push here. I'm also unsure of my flop bet, I have to give him credit for a hand and the only thing that I'm going to get him off of is AK so that's gotta be bad, right? He should view me as a TAG that may or may not 3 bet light in position, I usually run around 15/10.

he should have JJ/QQ a lot, not sure how much value there is but I believe there is some, maybe like $14.

Push looks bluffy, which probably makes it your best play if you're looking to get called by worse hands.

Preflop is bad. He's too tight. His range beats AQs, I'm sure. If you hafta play, then call, but 9/6 is super tight and AQ doesn't stand up well.

Flop is also bad since most of his hands he called your 3bet with look good when not facing huge aggression, some of his hands are felters, and you really only fold AK and 22, both of which he probably folds some times to your 3bet.

Turn is a second barrel if you ever saw one. Like Spenda said, he likely has a pocket, and may be willing to fold it to your AK.

As played, river is about $14. Super nit isn't gonna call a push with JJ because he thinks it could be a bluff. He's more likely to call you on a bluff with your turn line. He'll fold a lot though since he likely has neither a K or A.

    Do you normally play shorthanded?

I played short handed for a over a year and just went back to full ring at the beginning of August.

If this guy was around 14/6 would you like the 3 bet better? I mean he's tight but 6% is alot of hands (88+,ATs+,KQs,AQo+), I do think that I should've slowed down on the flop. He may raise widish there but he's not calling as wide.

First of all, I didn't notice that I wandered into the Full Ring forum. 3bet PF is fine/good/meh you get him to fold AQ so that's a positive.

Yea, I don't cbet this flop, however, I'd fire that turn 100% of the time if the flop went check/check.

6% is not a lot of hands, and it plays bad against his calling range.

a little town called none of your goddamn business
fold pf or call if you really want to play. 3bet is the worst option.

c/b river he has a polar range that either has you beat or has no chance of calling you.
