fold but why did you do that??
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

made sense to me at the time... i figure he's got QJ or a draw or who knows maybe air but draws are by far most likely.

What would you have done and why?

putting a lot of money in and then folding when there lots of draws in your opps range is never a good thing imo.

If you thought he was going to be shoving his draws then 3bet/fold is really bad, just call his flop raise.

Well i'm a noob but i'm asking me what we are beating here. We are ahead against all pockets and even flush and straight draw. So he probably slow played AA, KK ? and is now facing a flush draw and he doesn't give us 2 pair so he 3bets on flop ? Would he have limped with QQ, JJ, QJ or 33 ? By the stats it's hard for me to say if this player would stack off for a flush or straight draw but as played and as he shoved to your 3bet i probably would give him a slow payed hand or a set of 3's. Against quite a lot of hands we are ahead so i would close my eyes and make the call hoping to see AA, KK, AQ. But as i said i'm a noob so please excuse if i'm wrong.

I think the crucial mistake I made in this hand is thinking that he'd raise a draw here, when with the other player in he has good ods to just call and see a turn

    hrmm good point here.

say villain was second to act on the flop and raised us, are we still calling a flop raise or 3betting

i hate to stack off in a limped pot unless i flop the nuts, monster draws or close to it.

i dont think position would change it enough, he's probably still going to flat with a donk in since donks are callstations

cant we just 3b/call if he's pullin this with draws?
whats the plan if we flat on the flop

Yes but the only reason we 3bet is to get it in with his draws. We can't 3bet and then have him shove and we go, hrmmm what to do now. 3bet fold is completely incoherent...

Plan depends on whether it's hu or 3way but probably b/f.
