Default Not sure about this one

I was at a .10/.25 NL at UB the other night after taking a nice beating at .25/.50. My bankroll was getting low so I stepped down. I was feeling a little desperate and trying to keep myself from playing stupid because of it.

Anyway I get dealt sitting in mid position. I limp through and 3 others call.

    Flop comes [ ]

I'm wondering how others would have played this. I have top pair with the flush and straight draw. I thought about it for awhile and with my outs and desperation I threw a check bet that got called by 1 and raised by another. I then decided to make a push even though I figured the raiser had the AsXs which diminished my out for the nuts alot.

Was that the right move or should I have just called him to see the turn?

Needless to say I didn't get either of my outs and of course he had the flush. I think this stung a bit because of the downward streak I've been having and the inevitability of my bankroll disappearing.

    Wastin' away again in margaritaville....
sounds like desperation to me... fold that to the re-raise if you think he's got the nut flush. 2 outs is not something to bet your whole stack on.

    himself fucker.
If you put him on the flush, you've got to fold. You can't draw for 2 outs or a runner boat.

If I was thinking with a clear head I would have probably not have called or raised that. Now that my bankroll is useless I'm going to take a small break and try to relax so I can come back with a clear head.

I was in the breaking even stage of my game and it seemed to be inevitable for me to swing down. Hopefully a break will clear my head a bit and allow me to play better poker.
