if vilian is holding Ax, or even worse A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, or 56s

and I would bet $3 on flop. If I c-bet regardless of the flop, regardless of I hit or not I bet the same 2/4 - 3/4 the pot. If he calls, and you hit great, bet again and see if he bluffs the flush. You want him to fold right there, or build the pot a bit if you hit your flush.
