nuts flush pair draw facing checkraise shove on flop

folks, this is another 1/2 nl live hand i recently played in my local card room. My opponent(semi-loose) is a tricky guy who like to raise small with small-medium pockets. Utg limped, MP3($300) raised to $7, hero($285) called with :As: on the button, small blind($210) called.

flop came out , UTG checked, MP3 checked, hero bet $22, small blind called, MP3 shoved all-in , hero??

should i call his shove this deep given good pot equity Vs his range?

If I've read this right, and you're on the button, why didn't you take the free card? Any pocket pair pretty much beats you here if you don't hit the flush/A, and opp could have 88-TT? Then again, since you said he bets small with just pairs ,maybe he already hit his set (77?)

i bet out on the button because i thought its a good opportunity to take down this sexy pot right on the flop but i didnt really expect this guy to checkraise shove here. Based on my reads, i havent seen him do this before after raising preflop. I'm just wondering if its justified to call this shove given my OK pot equity against his likely range(77+, 33, 66, 45s, 450) with small blind to act behind.

This seems like it's most likely to be an overpair, no?

vs overpairs you've got 14 or worst case 12 outs.

vs set/straight you've got 9 outs

He's overbetting the pot pretty huge on the flop ($250 into $50ish?)...so you don't have odds to call if he's got a set/straight, but you do if he's got overpair or worse. Is this right?

Would he do this with a set, or would he slowplay it?

I guess I call, but I'm a gamblin' man...

ok, in live games its hard to figure out whats exactly our pot equity against his range we put him on, roughly i guess 40% around. after reviewing our hand in pokerstove, we just figured out what math is telling us so common sense is i should definitely gamble here given our shared pot equity, right?

You'll see crap like K8s, worse flush draws and such here often enough that you probably have even better equity than that.

This is a very easy call.

thanks guys for your awesome input here. As played, i was really confused and thought a long time before folding to his huge C/R shove aggression. He told me he had 99 afterwards and made a move on me knowing that i like to bet out IP when checked to.
side note: i did bet into the flop with flopped set on button in multiway pot when he checked/ folded 99 in a similar situation.
