I think I cbet too much at full ring with hands like missed pocket pairs against cold callers. Then when they call the flop I have no fucking clue what to do.

I would think it's dependent on the board texture and the villain. Was it a good flop to c-bet? Like a well spaced flop with 1 high card? Or were there several broadways or close together cards which might have connected with his range? Assuming you have some idea what his range is. If it seemed like a good flop then on the turn is he a habitual floater? If he is then of course a second barrel seems warranted. Or did a flush draw fail to complete, seems like that could be another spot to bet again. Thing is without reads you end up guessing and that can be expensive, oop and unimproved I'd be inclined to try to check the turn and give up to a reasonable bet then either check or block bet the river. Again depending on what cards came. Might seem weak but you are weak and oop so I don't think building the pot is generally a good play. After all you are not trying to win every pot you are trying to maximise your winnings on your winners and minimise your losses on your losers. | |
