    Default Pushing with pocket queens

I've been reading a lot of fnords fearless posts and it made me do this. What would you have done? My table image is tight and every hand I've played in I've won. This guy seems pretty stupid, making comments such as "I've never won 3 hands in a row before lol".

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) converter

    UTG+1 ($4)
    MP1 ($9.85)
    MP2 ($9.85)
    MP3 ($8.20)
    CO ($11.75)
    Button ($2.50)
    Hero ($14.85)
    BB ($9.80)
    UTG ($10.80)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.10, 3 folds, CO raises to $0.8, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, UTG+1 folds, CO raises to $11.75, Hero calls $9.75.

    Flop: ($23.70) 4, 9, 9 (2 players)

    Turn: ($23.70) 3 (2 players)

    River: ($23.70) 6 (2 players)

    Final Pot: $23.70
Main Pot: $23.70, between CO and Hero.

there's a big difference between PUSHING all in, and CALLING all in.... You have him beat here unless he has KK or AA. I don't like the play very much though, I'd rather be the one pushing all in...

    what did he have
"I guess if there wasnt luck involved id win everyone."

Yeah, I'd rather play a flop against this guy. He'll put in money with worse hands.

    He had AKo

But how do you know he doesn't have AA or KK when he calls those bets? You wait for him to reraise you and then fold?

You don't, but it's a better gamble than pushing pre-flop as he'll make lots of juicy post-flop mistakes.

So you bet 2/3s the pot and if he reraises you then fold? What if he just keeps calling your big bets? Shouldn't you decide whether or not you have him beat?

There is no simple answer. I just would battle this one out on the flop and trust my ability to make better decisions.

With your read I may go with your preflop all in on the Qs. But with him pushing all in on me I get timid. Without a read I have him on AK, AA, KK. With your read I stretch that on out to JJ, AKo, AQ maybe even KQs.

This really depends on the table and how I am feeling. It seems you have settled into the table and gotten a read. In that case, go for it.

Other than that I completely have to side with Fnord.
