Default QJs flop three of a kind

    5NL 6max on iPoker

A few limped, I was CO with QJs, I raised to 0.12, two called.

    Flop is QQ7

UTG bets 0.16, one fold, I raise to 0.32. UTG goes all in, I call.

Ends up showing QK - outkicking me.

Was my call of the all in push by UTG a bad call? I figured there were only a handful of hands that had me beat (QK, QA, Q7).

    I guess I was thinking:

Was it foolish of me to put him on less than QK/QA in 6max? I didn't have any huge reads on him, though in the past he did make some poor plays from what I'd seen.

If he's really a poor player then I'll destack in this spot all day against his range. Your trip kicker is high enough to play with.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

You raised a bit light preflop, minraised on the flop (yuck) and correctly called his push. Too bad he had you outkicked.

Thanks for the analysis guys. I figured I should have probably raised more postflop. As for preflop I try to keep my raises always at 3xBB, but I might change that to 4xBB.

Personally I like 4BB+1BB per limper. But never more than 6BB. But that's not absolutely necessary, depends on how you want to play it postflop. But I'd definately advise going to 4BB standard.

Never read any stickies or announcements
how anyone could possibly give advice on this hand without knowing stack sizes is beyond me.

Also, I love being nit-picky, and 77 also beats you.

Sorry about missing stack sizes; Both myself and villain had roughly equal stack sizes of around 5.50$ and the person who folded had 2$ I believe.
