raise more pf. make them pay for their positional advantage. as played, river push sucks. what worse hand do you think will call? check/call a reasonable bet or check/fold if he bets big or pushes.

Preflop is ok;although at NL10 I hear you need to raise more than at NL25 because so many more clowns will call.

    Flop bet is ok.

If you're going to push the push the turn.

River...........wow........dunno man.......either way it seems like most of your chips will going in regardless before you both flip your cards.

So I should open push $11 into a 3 dollar pot on the turn?

    That doesn't seem correct...

werd you should not push at any point in the hand. in fact, the less you are all-in in ring play the better, generally speaking. try to focus on not going broke with just one pair (this includes overpairs). if you always go broke with an overpair then every time you stack someone else's overpair with your set or whatever you're not really making any money in the longrun since you'll just be giving it back next time you have an overpair. don't just trade chips with the fish, take their chips and don't give them back.

    Right... But this being said...

What would be your line on the turn? I can't see any other line being correct besides a pot sized bet. Thats why I was questioning open pushing a $3 pot on the turn like Whoo suggested.

The river bet is where I think I probably went wrong. After two calls, I probably should have slowed down and checked to him... but this puts me in a pretty bad spot if he was drawing to overcards or a gutshot and decides to try and steal the pot from me on the river.

You won't believe what this guy called my river push with...

    *** SHOW DOWN ***
TripleOptics: shows [Qh Qc] (a pair of Queens)
BiggyMan: shows [Ad Kd] (high card Ace)
    TripleOptics collected $24 from pot

High card ace! How could anyone call that... He even showed the hand instead of mucking it as to say "Look at this wonderful hand I was calling you down with!"

Anyways, I still dont like my river line, and I guess this is just one of those situations where I'm going to have to check the river and hope he was drawing and doesn't want to try to take the pot down...

Do you think I might get 2 pair to lay down with the river push ? ... I'm not sure they would.

What is hero's move if villain pushes river?I had a similar hand with QQ a few weeks ago too where I bet big on turn and river put 4 to straight and villain pushed.
