How many hands with him and what's his perception of you so far? You've both won a little at the table so there has to be some read.

No stats, so less than 25 hands. Nothing stuck out about his play, I won one small pot from him with a c-bet a few hands earlier, and before that he took down a decent pot with a big bet on a turn with a scary board (AKxx, 2 spades) and two other players still in.

I don't overbet like that. I'll have to add that line. Thanks.

    Villain showed Ks3s

Try adding that overbet to your arsenal

Apparently not! What made it an insta-call for you? The fact that an overbet like this is a really strange line to take with a full house?

the fact that he makes you fold any two cards that missed.
There is nothing here that would have hit your overcards so he either sucks badly at getting paid or something isnt right.
If he led or c/r'ed id be scared but an open push when a fairly blank card hits is dumb. He either has quads or nothing imo which is why id call. If the top card paired on the turn thats a different story at times. But again, why push quads? Why overbet when your opponent appears to have nothing anyway? hence i think call

I'll overbet on occasion to mix it up. It can be a very powerful tool and you are missing out on some profits if you don't take advantage of it. I don't overbet bluff like villain in this hand--I overbet when I have a hand and I don't think villain will call my c-bet. It has worked to perfection many times...just gotta pick the right times and players to use it against. It will induce calls on hands you probably would have never received any action on because your bet looks like a stone cold bluff.

Oh, and I insta-call that bet any day. The vast majority of the time it's a missed flush draw trying to steal the pot.
