Just very briefly. Your hand has some showdown value, you are out of position against two opponents who combined could very possibly have a king. Even if they don't have a king one of them could easily float the flop and you will be forced to fold to a turn bet. Betting this flop with AQ is better than betting with QQ. If I check the flop and both opponents check behind I'll usually lead the turn on a harmless card, this way you will often get calls by TT JJ and then be able to check down the river against such hands.
