The table is extreamly passive preflop, allowing me to see the flop with more hands than normal.
Flop comes down trips for me. It has been my experience that if I bet (anything, even 1bb) then everyone will fold so I check to conceal my trips.

Your play here? Should I have raised the turn?
My thought was to play passive and raise whatever he bets on the river. If he had checked the turn I would have bet.
The river bet is large but not so large that it will never be called.
