    Default Recognizing scare cards.

I thought this hand was a good example of how to recognize scare cards and using them to move a player off a hand.

I figured this guy had a set, which is what he said he had after the hand.

Hard to put a preflop raiser on a 6, or JT for that matter. Still, maybe he knows you, Dsax

doesn't he have odds to call you on the turn with a set?

Even if he does, he can't really call a bluff on the river unless he fills up, and even if he does call with only a set, I may've hit my straight by then.

I've played with him some, and he probably knows I'm willing to raise in position with a lot of speculative hands.

That's my reaction, too. I can't imagine folding here, since I would never put a PFR on a 6 or JT. Plus, there's 9 outs for a FH and 1 for 4 of a kind floating around, not to mention 3 outs to split the pot with another 6.
