I think so. Three clubs, two aces - you have trips with the worst kicker. A8+ or any two clubs have you by the nads. I'm not crazy about your play before the river, but as played I would fold that. Seems like unless he's completely full of it, you'd only call hoping to split, and that's a dangerous hope for any call.
