Default Right or just plain dumb?

I dont know if this was a stupid call, or if it was the right call. I was the chip leader by alot in a 2 table SnG and still before the tables combined. I figured it was only another 150 chips into a 625 chip pot where 150 was mine allready, and had the chance to knock another player out. I also figured it would do my table image pretty good, would kinda make people think I will play anything.

    Right.

You're the huge chipleader, you can afford 300 for a shot at knocking someone out.
    If I had a hammer
    I'd drop in the morning
    I'd drop in the evening..

Yeah, I'd call with 72o here, particularly if there were antes. Easy call.

wow I guess playing 6 9 off was the right call, I figured a few people would call me a moron for calling it I know the guy I knocked out wasnt too happy. There is just something about playing 6 9 off that seems wrong to me no matter the situation.

Fine call, if you fold you're almost doubling him up with the blinds anyway. If nothing else you figure you have two live cards!
