In my experience, an overbet on a paired 4-flush board usually means they can beat a flush and they're hoping you pay them off with one. I'd fold.

Seems like every time I call this bet, or bet/get raised/call, I end up looking at the one card that beats me. Give him credit for A spades.

with that board I'm giving him credit for the 9 spades, since he isn't worried about it.

Raising would be silly.
