fold quick, before you talk yourself into thinking he doesn't have QT here.

He has one of three hands - QT, KJ, or 33. You'd think he might raise the flop with KJ, but you never know. His play is weirdly inconsistent for 33. To me it looks like he just made the nuts and is trying to get paid... probably a crying fold. Ouch.

I would fold, but I don't think this is an insta-fold. You still beat quite a few hands in his range. If he has been getting out of line, I call here. Also, in limped pots, you should generally bet more, like pot on flop and turn since the pot size is so small and there are a lot of draws.

No kidding Fnord. At the PokerStars medium stakes games these days, when someone makes a huge all-in overbet, it means one of three things

1) He has the nuts.
2) He has the nuts.
3) Other (he has the nuts).

Sometimes when a person does this against me, I tell them that I'll transfer them 10 bucks if they show their cards and don't have the nuts. I've yet to have anyone show me their cards.

This is actually getting epidemic at a lot more stakes and sites than Pokerstars medium stakes. I see this at Party 25 and 50 all the time. Huge bets on the turn and river (especially when a draw hits, and especially with little provocation from other bettors) is almost always, like 95% or better, the "please pay me off" bet. We've all seen the glory days of fishes who think every big bet is a bluff. And even though those glory days have somewhat passed, the comical overbet phenom is here in a big way.

A lot of these games just have a lot of players who play very boring by the book poker to pick off the live ones. They have a little fun, make a little money and keep doing it. Not sure the $25 games are there yet, haven't played in one for probably a year now. However, the $100 & $200 levels are certainly like this.

Beating a game with 5 wanna-be TAggs, 2 live ones and 2 good TAggs is somewhat different than swimming in the fish pond. Meh, in NLHE it's more like 3 Tight/Passives, 3 short-stacked live ones, 1 deep live one and 2 reasonable TAggs....

Easy fold...He prematurely blew his wad in excitement of catching a straight.

Would anybody raise this out of the blinds? When I get hands like these in the blinds and there are a few limpers Im never sure what my action should be.

I don't suggest doing this because you are raising into 3 opponents and more than likely 1 will call. Also ,the flop is probably going to put you in a situation where you are not sure if you are ahead, and out of position.

Let's discuss this.

I've played about 150,000 hands on pokerstars. In order of hands played, it probably goes something like NL100, NL200, NL25, NL400.

I've played about 3,000 hands on party. Can't really give an accurate judge of how these games are, but everyone always says they are soft. So let's talk about it.

I've barely played cash games on Party, but in the limited amount that I played there, it seemed like people were more willing to take a stand against my aggression than the people on PS.

I don't think 100NL and 200NL on PS are that bad of games, personally. Maybe they just suit my style. I make a lot of my profit by being really aggressive against people who don't play back at me, and most of the 6-max tables have at least 2 or 3 tight passives who let me run them over while all of us wait to make a hand against the 1 or 2 live ones.

Actually, at 200NL I'm finally running into a few players who are playing back at me. I'm bankrolled for 400NL, but I want to get better at handling these players before I move up.

If you're good at pushing thinking weak/medicore players off hands and stacking them with bizare holdings at the right time, PokerStars has better table textures.

If you like action games, play tight, tend to stick with your best hands and are willing to gamble it up with guys that like to see flops and give action, then Party is a much better game.

Yeah this is "standard" the nuts. I might call if I have seen him push with draws and slowplay his made hands.. remember you have 10 outs to hit a boat! (1/5) Otherwise easy fold.

I think its weird to overbet here... It looks like dont call, but please do...Why bet so insane? Its just like HOH1 where someone comes over the top with 3 nines, where hero has AA (who calls of course)...He have you beat so fold fast...

I call at these stakes.

I can't fold 4th nuts at 25nl.

You have 25% equity vs the nuts and i think you can add a 30% donk factor.

55% is an edge and I am taking it.

At pokerstars if you call this, more often than not you are getting fucked up the arse... and it's not a very good feeling...

I've gotten paid off using this line against someone I can put on a good hand..."there is NO WAY my AA has been cracked by 79... CALL HIS BLUFF!"

If he doesnt have QT here then he is a complete donk and you will get his stack eventually... fold and look for a better spot
