Depends. How is your image at the table? If you are considered AGG or have taken down a number of pots without showing down then yes bet this up front. If you are seen as Tight, players will likely fold to your bet fearing the A. If your image is tight, slow play it.
I suspect, the only callers you will get on a board like this are the A, K, possibly spade draw. If none are out you aren't getting any one to play back at you on the turn either.
You played it correctly. It was just a bad flop for your hand if nobody held an Ace. Only other option is to bet $.25-.50 and hope someone smells weakness and re-raises you.
P.S. The guy with position on you, Toluschev, he's VERY tight. He is playing like 5-7 tables, so you can raise him out of his blind all day, but if he plays back at you, run for cover.
Also A-10Warthog is pretty tight solid too.
