Default Should this be played differently given opponents line?

I felt like reraising the flop might be spewing as opponent didn't min-bet.
He either had a decent pair, or something like QT etc. I figured he was
not on the flush draw here, but that he might figure me for one, or for
KK/QQ/JJ or something. I was priced right for my draw, and even took the free turn card he offered to feign the flush draw as well.
River bet is value to not seem overly suspicious since I missed.

Reason for the post is that I don't bluff on the end in this situation a lot...thought this was a good spot, and was up on the table a tiny bit anyway. But I'm curious how other people play their bluffs in a situation like this, with out of position caller leading weak, but not min, at ya.
My line felt weak...but I acted like I was drawing and bet when the draw hit.

Oh, and the hand was readless regarding opponent, sorry.

Looks like villain called something along the lines of Tx, and tried to take the flop cheap. When you called, he pretty much gave up, and when the flush card hit, he figured he wasn't beating anything.

I've made this play quite a bit recently, betting/raising when a flush completes, but my straight draw misses. Opp doesn't have much of a hand, and you rep a flush. I like it.

    Reraising you from the button
it may have worked this time, but here's a better line:

Since you have position, tripple his flop bet. That way hes almost guarenteed to check the turn to you(granting you a free turn and river, if you want), gives you some fold equity both there and on the next street, disguises your hand, and takes away his pot odds if hes drawing to a straight or flush.

IF you put him on an A after he calls the flop bet, check the turn behind. If you put him on a flush draw, bet pot into him again and force him to draw without odds, then bluff him out on any on-flush river. If you think he has a T or something, maybe you can steal it away from him by represetning the ace.

(remember, betting/raising is better than calling)

    It's fine.

Your opponent may have made a mistake with the weak flop bet, raising is passing on that in hopes of getting him to make an even bigger one. Quite often I just put my money in the bank here. Particularly with a weak draw.

This isn't really that tricky it's done so often. You're also vastly under-estimating the number of times he 3-bets or donks the turn.

Thanks for the comments all. And there are plenty of times where I will raise the flop...as it turns out, I wasn't getting paid to catch here no matter what...he obviously had a very weak/doubtful hand...in which case a flop reraise would have been fine.

No particular reason for the changeup other than that in and of itself. And the fact that there are so many people around nowadays who like to call flop bets or raises just to see what you do on the turn. Tougher for me to bet a blank turn here given his stack size etc. so weakness on the turn by me may have elicited a river call that I didn't want (missed anyway).

    don't bluff at 10NL?

seems to have worked out for you in this case though.

In general I agree with you Renton...and to be honest, I don't bluff much at $10 NL.
However, UltimateBet in general as a site is a little tighter than some other places. This leads to a few spots where bluffing is not a terrible idea.

I basically NEVER bluff at Pacific Poker, and I'm not likely to raise this type of hand there as there will be 4-5 limpers in every pot...someone is likely to call me down (and would have hit the Ace-small) - so I save it for my made hands and just value bet/protect.

As you can see in this hand, it was folded to me in the CO with an average+ hand. I was stealing the blinds but hit something playable. This would never happen at Pac Poker...always 4-5 limpers every pot there lol, which would turn this into a limp, check-call spot for me, with no bluff on the end.

    Word.

Party Poker put $20 in my long dead account recently. I've built it up now (got lucky for a while) and am winning at a higher rate than I am at UB. I'm thinking of moving the rest of the BR to Party. Only concern is if it is better to practice against the tougher competition at lower level or just win more money. I guess the decisions not that tough

Party kicks ass. Its a good balance of players of all skill levels.

I am weeping cuz I'm done with all their bonuses and have to pull out all my money and go play other places.
