it may have worked this time, but here's a better line:

Since you have position, tripple his flop bet. That way hes almost guarenteed to check the turn to you(granting you a free turn and river, if you want), gives you some fold equity both there and on the next street, disguises your hand, and takes away his pot odds if hes drawing to a straight or flush.

IF you put him on an A after he calls the flop bet, check the turn behind. If you put him on a flush draw, bet pot into him again and force him to draw without odds, then bluff him out on any on-flush river. If you think he has a T or something, maybe you can steal it away from him by represetning the ace.
