    There's a lot of ways I can see you playing this.

    lead flop, lead turn (not really sure I like this a whole lot, because once you are called on the flop, you are usually beat).
    lead flop, c/f turn.
    lead flop, c/r turn (as a bluff, to get him off an overpair- not something I recommend in this spot).
    check/fold flop.
    check/call flop hoping for a checkdown.
    check/raise flop.
    check/call, lead safe turn.

    I usually don't want to put much money into this pot so I'd probably just check/fold, or lead and shut down if he calls. If he likes firing once and shutting down with overcards, I'd probably c/c and have it checked down from there. I'm guessing he had something like QQ. To be honest, usually 3-way I'm just check/folding here. It's kind of weak, but whatever.
