Default Should I have kept this three way ?

Could I have stacked both of them?

If so , what would you have done different.. PF raise , and a call from these two .. One has to have an ace..... Thoughts?

Working more on my aggression - nice donk looking raise there i must say . Very tempting lure bet on the river.. I dont think I played this bad.. I dont think I could have kept them in the hand and got what i did out of it by making that nice raise..

Played fine. With two diamonds on the turn, you don't really want to raise less..

players at these stakes are so passive that they often won't raise you even if they are sure they have you beat.

Haha, you said lure. You know what lures better than a $4 bet? $36 in the middle.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Just bet your hands at these levels, there is no need to get to thinking on the 2 and 3 levels.

    It is striaght forward poker.

    I push river.

I see the light.. I see the light..

Iam not a very complex poker player by any means.. Iam always trying to incorporate this advanced bullshit and it doesnt ever pay off. Being straightforward at this level is definitely the correct way to play. Any thoughts on why Iam giving my opponents too much credit ? Iam attempting to break this habit because I know Iam loosing a shitload of money. I just try so hard to take them for every little last penny i can get out of it.. My thinking process is like this with this hand in general.

Hero thinks "I know I have the best hand.. Hes got to know I have the best hand.. "

Villain thinks "If i had any type of hand against hero I would showdown for around 4 bucks more... Thats reasonable to look him up ..

    Help please.

Maybe because you pushed a couple of times and got folds. So you "learned" from that and bet smaller to entice a call. The problem is that poker can't be correctly learned by discreet events. You have to push 100 times and count the times you got calls and add up the extra $ you made on those 100 times before you can even begin to answer the question, "should I push or entice a call with a smaller bet". Suspend your normal learning mechanism when playing poker. For every move, think back to what books and this site tells you to do and try and act that way. Then look back on many such events and decide for yourself if that was the better move or not. Sometimes it is, sometimes it is not. There is no one correct answer for all situations so you can't take books or this site blindly.

    Yes, this is very helpful.

A couple of nights ago, I lost a big pot by failing to agressively defend my made hand. The next day, I looked at the HH and the first thing I thought to myself was "Jesus, how can you be so F'ing passive. If I post this at FTR, I'd be lambasted as a dumd, donkish noob."

That assesment would be correct, of course.
