Default So I get tricky with KK

Opponent is a total nit at 10.x/4.x/2.xx after many many hands. Usually when I get tricky I have position but I think this is the only way I get his stack if he has a lower pair than me or hits the flop good enough to give me his stack. Only the 6th time I haven't reraised it in over 166k hands of full ring. I think running bad atm may be clouding my judgement . Comments welcome on the huge overbet as well but I was trying to rep a draw.

About the only hands calling your over bet have you crushed.

No offense, but I really don't understand why people at lower levels try to get tricky. Just concentrate on playing solid poker. You don't need to get fancy to win, and many times it just leads to tears.

I try to play good but a nit like this can get away from JJ/QQ if I reraise out of the blinds which is what I don't want. In this case I thought this was good. Like I said my mind is just in the wrong place with running bad I think. No offense taken and your comment is most def. appreciated. Thanks.

A bad opponent can also get away from JJ-QQ with your flop bet.

not something i normally do, but i like it.

if he pots the flop then he has AA.. i see him with AK/AQ, JJ,QQ here.. he could have TT and have you beat. i agree he is calling with QQ/JJ so nh.

    Marry Me Cheryl!!!
lead the flop if he has JJ/QQ hes raising anyway.
That gives you a c/push line on the turn, hoping it isnt one of the cards that kills your action.
He's probably getting away from bet/3bet(or push) line with just an overpair on the flop.
Saying that id have reraised preflop anyway.
