    Default some KK hands

Ok, i think that i am just having some really bad luck, but i've been down for 3000 hands now (since buying pokertracker), and Kings have been killing me, so here are some king hands, what would you do?

Hand 1: Scary flop, I would bet half pot and get out if raised
Hand 2: Reraise, I would think I was ahead here
Hand 3: Why check the flop?!? Hm....he overbets the flop with no flush draw, so he might be bluffing or is playing AQ and putting you on AK. But with QQQ I think this would be a smart bet also, since KK or AA might put him on a bluff. Would need a read here! I would consider a fold, but, with a good read based on his preflop play I think I would push all in.

Hand1: Looks like flop is scary for both of you. AA may have put you all in pre flop. Would he slowplay AK, AQ or QQ ? Or is it more likely he has KQ or JJ or worse. Think I would bet 2/3 the pot.

Hand2: Most likely he is on a draw and he is hoping you are on AK and will fold to his raise. If he had an 8 or 77 would he have raised ? or would he have called ? I would re-raise.

Hand3: Checking the flop has put you in a difficult situation. It is now going to cost a lot more to find out if you are beat. He limped in then called a big raise pf, smells like a pocket pair. Without a read I fold.
  4. #4
hand 1: bet 2/3 the pot and fold if he push's unless he's small stacked in which case i would call.

hand 2: push you have the best hand
i would also push here probably raise to 20.

hand 3: push you have the best hand

That's just what I would do... in hand 3 he way overbet and i don't think he would play a set like that, which is all i can see beating you

oh yeah crmdefense is a terrible fish, i think i've taken over 100 dollars from him in the past. i would be really suprised if he has you beat

    additional info for second hand

    Hero raises [$16].
    AboveTheRes is all-In.
    Hero ?

And here are the results from hands 1 and 3 in white below.

    Hand 1:

    Hero bets [$20].
    drdanbury is all-In.
    >You have options at Table 36945 Table!.
    Hero folds.
    >You have options at Table 36572 Table!.
drdanbury shows [ Ah, Qh ] two pairs, aces and queens.
drdanbury wins $81.5 from the main pot with two pairs, aces and queens.

    Hand 3:

    Hero is all-In.
    >You have options at Table 37138 Table!.
    Crmdefense calls [$39.55].
    ** Dealing Turn ** [ Qs ]
    ** Dealing River ** [ As ]
Crmdefense shows [ Qc, Qd ] four of a kind, queens.
Hero doesn't show [ Kh, Kc ] two pairs, kings and queens.
Crmdefense wins $140.6 from the main pot with four of a kind, queens.

Basically what i'm looking for, is what I could've done to reduce my dollars lost.

Hand 1, maybe I could've bet 1/2 to 3/4 of the pot, and saved myself 5-10 bucks? I hate making weak bets though.

Hand 2, will discuss when I get more responses from the additional info.

Hand 3, ok, I could've led off by betting the pot. What if they pushed? I probably should figure at that point I'm beaten, so I could've saved myself half a stack?

ok, so pretty much these are three hands where i am more likely than not getting destacked or losing big time?

I just want to make sure. I haven't been getting beaten bad, but it just seems like a lot of stuff like this, and that other hand where i made a sucker straight have happened, and its not that i'm ahead and getting beaten, but just its some sick luck that i'm behind...
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch

Hand #1 - Without a read - lay it down after the flop, you're beat.

Hand #2 - Need a read. Will this guy call 4xbb pf with an 8 in his hand? Will he semi-bluff a flush draw? (if so, play it hard until a spade hits - make him pay)

Hand #3 - No overcards, his bet tells me TPTK. I would think hard about that one and probably call.

When I have KK I isolate to 1 opponent and then play the hand with caution. Look for possible flushes and, of course any A on the board makes me nervous. I just want a loose opponent to call me down on an aceless board. I'm still trying to learn is when to let unimproved Ks & As go.

Now, I've read the results and wow, quad Qs. Tough beat. That's a bad one cause if you had quad Ks you probably wouldn't have gotten any action.
I'll be a rootin' tootin' shootin' damn fool, protectin' my chips.

what a bizzare play to make with top set and no real draw out (can't possibly think you re raised with 34!)... I think you just have to give the guy credit for reading you for over pair, because nothing besides AA KK calls there. Or, as said above he's a fish and moves all his chips in any time he flops the nuts! Unreal.
