Cbetting with 3 opps on a A-high flop sucks.

I might chicken out here, depends on how the table is playing. I don't think this is a bad c-bet. Quite often KK is the best hand or some nit with a weak ace doesn't want to play a big pot.

That flop is painful, pretty much the worst you can see. This hand is lost.

yeah you can often find folds in people who dont want to play semi to weak aces. its worth it after 2 checks i think.

I like the bet, but you have to give it up against any resistance

A weak A is not going to give any resistance other than calling. I give this up all the time.

My line is to check and see if it checks to the last to play or gets checked around. If it does I'll bet the turn. Even if you are careful here you may get called all the way down by a week A.

I check it unless in LP.
If the turn comes around, I'll make a bet.

But as other posters mentioned, check/fold mode once resistance is shown.

exactly. If you lead the betting on further streets, keep it small.

out of position, i would check. betting out after a pf raise can be read as weakness.

often (headsup) ill re-raise with nothing in this spot if i think the ace is a scare card.

Heads up I'll check when there is an ace on the board. "He's checking the ace?!? He must be slowplaying his TPNK.. I think I'll just fold right here."

    Or I'll overbet it.

Anything in between looks too standard of a play for the shown ace.

Do you make money with this move long-term? I don't see betting out 2/3 to 3/4 pot as 3rd to act smells of weakness. Maybe in a super LAG game.

I personally can't bet it, b/c I c-bet enough somebody out of 3 opponents won't give me credit for the A. I check/fold this and throw my keyboard.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

im talking now about reraising AGAINST the KK in position. i really dont know if it is profitable. i hope so. i play a very read-dependant LAG game. any time i assess that an opponent is willing to fold, i try to give him that opportunity. the safe thing about it, is when ppl come over the top of you (or even just flat call) you know youre done with the hand. jmo.
