    Probably overly concerned about you hitting trips. That's the only way I can explain his behavior.

    Relative stack size affected his aggressiveness.

    He's a moron. Probably should have raised more pre-flop, but definitely should have been more aggressive on the flop, turn, and river. Smaller stack only means he's more likely to get you to call if he bets out strong, so why not just do it and hope? Obviously afraid of his own shadow, or just sucks at the game.
