Default Too aggressive push? Good or bad play?

Did I play this way too aggressive and just got lucky, or was it ok to push here? I am working on my aggression and trying to play more aggressive preflop and on flop. Any feedback appreciated.

    Lemme guess your thought process.

Flop: I have a set. I need to make drawers pay.
Turn: 8 of diamonds? Jesus CHrist. THere could not have BEEN another worse card. Give both teh straight AND teh flush? what the hell?!?! F*** me...
River: Huzzah! Full house, bitches! yeah!

Yes, ensign_lee presents my thoughts at the time very well!

I like to vary my play with TT and JJ and do not allways raise them from early positions.
