    Villain is 14/8 or some lame shit like that.

    UTG ($71.80)
    UTG+1 ($49.75)
    Hero ($52)
    MP2 ($89.25)
    CO ($76.20)
    Button ($27.30)
    SB ($49.50)

    Preflop: Hero is MP1 with T, T.
    UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2.5, 5 folds, UTG calls $2.

    Flop: ($5.75) A, Q, 5 (2 players)
    UTG checks, Hero checks.

    Turn: ($5.75) 3 (2 players)
    UTG checks, Hero checks.

    River: ($5.75) Q (2 players)

    This river bet achieved nothing IMO. These 14/8 guys wouldnt looked you up with his range of showdown hands like 22,44,66-99 unless they think you are a table bully or a habitual bluffer.

    agreed. you aren't pushing out any hand that beats you and with stats like that any hand you are beating isn't calling any more bets.
    Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

    This bets completely fine, we obviously have the best hand so why not bet it and hope to get value from worse? I dont see the problem here.

    some good tricky players might smell weakness and c/r this on the river. I know spoon would 3 bet shove for value :P

    good spot for a thin value bet, but i'm leaning much closer to 1/5 pot.

    For people suggesting bet sizes of < 1/2 the pot, do you really think a 1/4th PSB gets called more than twice as often as a 1/2 PSB?
