    Default TPGK, call?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (7 handed) converter

    Hero ($3.10)
    SB ($1.29)
    BB ($4.98)
    UTG ($9.74)
    MP1 ($1.92)
    MP2 ($6.42)
    CO ($6.70)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, J.
UTG calls $0.02, MP1 calls $0.02, MP2 raises to $0.04, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.1, 1 fold, BB calls $0.08, UTG folds, MP1 folds, MP2 raises to $0.3, Hero calls $0.20, BB folds.

    Flop: ($0.75) A, 7, T (2 players)
    MP2 bets $0.3, Hero calls $0.30.

    Turn: ($1.35) 2 (2 players)
    MP2 checks, Hero checks.

    River: ($1.35) Q (2 players)
    MP2 bets $0.5, Hero ???

My read was that he was on AK because he had shown only premium cards to this point.
Is this a situation in which you always call because you can never be that sure he has a kicker better than J?

His check on the turn is strange if he has AK. The 2 is not a scare card - why check? I'd put him on a high pair lower than aces, and call. However, I would have folded AJ pre-flop to his re-raise. I don't know much about the micros, but his re-raise is healthy and your hand isn't that good.

I would raise the flop and see his reaction. to have information you have to pay. If he raise, I fold, if he calls.....decision..... You said that he only showed good hand.... well fold to any raise then.....

But when you have position, use this advantge to get as much info as you can....

Good point. So he has high PP and he bets the flop for info. I show no resistance with my call but he is still not sure. So he checks the turn, I again show weakness so he bets the river.
Result: I fold and he shows KK.

Fold to the preflop raise huh? Yeah, I have a hard time letting go of decent hands when I have not gotten any in a while. I have thought about 6 max so I can play more hands but I think the aggression would eat me.

    Thanks for the lesson.

AJs can't stand up to any reraise, any time. Unless it's AGAINST me and I have AA, where the flop comes JJJ and I push. True story, it happened.
