Default TPNK after overplaying pre, what does this min-raise mean?

    No reads, small sample set.

Ignore for the moment that I should be flatting preflop, given the preflop action, what can I do post-flop?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

    SB ($13.45)
    BB ($26.80)
    UTG ($34.80)
    UTG+1 ($8.50)
    MP1 ($13.20)
    MP2 ($15.60)
    CO ($14.85)
    Hero ($29.35)

Preflop: Hero is Button with , .
    UTG calls $0.25, UTG+1 calls $0.25, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.25, 1 fold, Hero raises to $1.5, SB calls $1.40, 1 fold, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP2 calls $1.25.

    Flop: ($5.25) , , (3 players)
SB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets $3.75, SB folds, MP2 raises to $7.5, Hero?

Dealing with min-raises from unknowns is really frustrating. I think most of them learned this from bucklox.

Our reverse implied odds is pretty bad, so i let go of this hand.

I would either shove or fold, really depends on what I think of him. With so little behind relative to the pot and your bet I don't think felting this is so bad.

I've quit disrespecting the min-raise. And I really worry about the check-min-raise line at donkstakes. This often means a great hand, imo, either a combo hand that hit hard, a set or 2 pair. I feel like the villains at this level generally want to get more money in the pot (hence letting you bet), and don't want to drive you off the hand (hence the min-raise). I would shove with more outs, like OESD or pair + FD. Here, I'm folding.

All that said, as fnord pointed out, shoving isn't out of the question. There are donks here who will do this crap with overs, a FD, etc. But I don't read souls. So I need something from HUD/notes to make this shove.

I shoved, he called with K9o... TPGK vs TPNK.

I just instantly assumed the guy was drawing with the min-raise. After showdown, I started rethinking the range we can put these guys on.

    Thanks for the insight, Robb.

LoL. I missed the had completely, so I don't know what insights I provided. They're donks. Sometimes there's just no explaining what the might do.

When posting hands here we get a mixed bag of responses. We get the nuggets that fall from the 'icons', we get blasted by some posters who are either having a bad day or just think they know all there is, or we can have a discussion with people around our level. The last I think is the most enjoyable and possibly the most worth-while.
