Default TT OOP, went weak on the Turn

Villain was about 30/7 (from memory),somewhat aggressive post-flop.

    Bet $3 on flop?
Reraise pot/push turn? Once I called Turn, I gave him an open invitation to push me around on river.

Am I ahead often enough to make the river call profitable? I think he raises PF with JJ+. Could have A8, A9. Could have air/busted draw.

I wussed out here I think. Or was the river fold correct based on the play up to that point, pick better spot to catch a bluff. Comments?

    1) Bet $3 or more on flop. If called, you probably have him beat still, because I think trip 9s re-raises you.
    2) After getting called, I bet $6 to prevent drawing odds. If I am called here I check river and fold to any show of strength.
    3) I think he had nothing because he had to over bet to push you out. If he did hit the flush, the proper value bet would be around $6-$8 hoping you did have trip 9s or an overpair.
