1- raise more preflop or don't raise at all imo. Turn raise is too small. Finally grew some balls on the river.
I would - raise to 3 preflop. Make it 5-6 on the flop, 12 on turn

2- limit table is down the hall. Flop bet is horrible. Reraise is even worse. Turn is too small yet again. River too small.
Preflop should be to $1. Pot the flop. 2/3 pot turn. If he's still there on the river 1/2 to 2/3 pot.

    1) turn raise is weak, river bet is weak

    raise more

    2)
limit table is down the hall

very fair points. I forgot that this http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...oker-63092.htm isn't widely accepted play - yet...

ps. Jack, bring your gun to fulltilt, the barrels are loaded with salmon! but seriously, how easy can a site be - just run 28-24-4 to eat blinds all day, then stacks when you hit...

Man that's so bad. You flopped a set first in a reraised pot and then in a raised pot on a wet board AND DID NOT MANAGE TO GET YOUR STACK INTO THE MIDDLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is why it will never be accepted and in fact is retarded, stupid, and not as +ev as making a real raise!!!!!!!!!111 I did not read the entire first post in that thread but I managed to see the first reply from Miffed

why minraise when you can raise it up for real and still build a bigger pot?

PS: I decided to come off as best a douchebag as I could so you can see why you're wrong and your play is in fact terrible and remember why it is terrible.

Your lines are good but your bet sizing needs work, you are really loosing a lot of value with this min raising experiment. It's not good and hopefully you get over it soon.

If I bet small like that I'd be poor.

    Poorer, actually.

i'm sure it's just a phase i'm going through - what I'm trying shouldn't work, and when it doesn't I'll stop. Then I'll look back and wonder how I could have been so stupid

IMO, the second hand looked terrible to me, you bet .25 into a 2.00 pot then get raised , then you decide to raise. this is way to transparent.
    3 3 3 I'm only half evil.
