    Default A viable tactic?

So everyone is wary of UTG limp-raises for those monstrous aces. Just an experiment, but is it +EV on the basis of their conviction that I have a monster, opinions?

That's amusing . As long as you don't do that too often, and only do it against one opponent who is demonstrably timid, I don't see why that shouldn't be added to your arsenal.

Only under certain conditions. Obviously you wouldn't try this play against a total rock.

If you have a laggy player open, who in turn gets several callers after you've limped in first position, it's probably not a bad idea to then put out a substantial raise and win the pot right there regardless of your cards.

and if you get a caller or two and hit the flop would it be right to say you get great implied odds?

Against smart people that are aware of the UTG limp raise with a big hand this would work everyonce in a while.

My favorite way to rep AA/KK is to pump out a 8bb+ raise out of the blinds after a bunch of tight limpers come in.

I would only show here if I regularly did limp re-raise AA/KK. I used to run this play a lot, but not nearly as much anymore as I've come around to thinking opening for a raise is a much better play for my game.
