I've been reading a bit about odds and outs and that stuff but havn't been implementing it in my play yet. I know A2s is crap but it was only 10c to call so I called and hoped for the best. I figuerd the other guy probably didn't have an ace and even if he did I was on a flush draw so I called his 3$ on the turn and it hoped for the best. He called me some names before he took off but I don't mind... If he had made a raise before the flop I would have folded so if he had a high pair it was lousy play from him wasn't it? My guess is he had a 6 or a higher pair on hand. So anyway: was the call right?

Whether Axs is a loser in 4-handed play, I have no idea.

But after the flop, the only thing you have to fear is someone else with an ace holding a better kicker. The chance that 3 opponents (6 card) are holding the one remaining ace is about 12%. Fairly safe bet, plus you have the flush to save your butt if the other ace is out there. It'd take a big bet from someone I know is very tight to get me off a hand like this.

Looks g00t. At a full table this might have been questionable, but short-handed you played it right.

There could be an argument that you should have been less passive (could save you from calling such a large bet on the turn if you found out where you were at on the flop), but that would have made you less money.

I'm raising this preflop 4 handed. AXs are g00t when you are this shorthanded, you also want to be a bit more manical when shrothanded, otherwise the blinds eat you.

Other than that, good play, you got your chips in the middle with the nuts, that's the best thing you can do.

Fine play. If he had a pocket pair he should have raised pre-flop. You should have raised on the flop yourself though... you have an ace, he probably doesn't, find out quickly. If he does have an ace you're definitely in kicker trouble. However, the board pairing, a 2, or a couple high cards coming along might get you out of that trouble.
