Was it the right move?

Default Was it the right move?

willteabagu wasn't just loose/aggressive. He was a downright reckless SOB. But an SOB who was getting cards and getting lucky. It looked like it was his night.

He would go all-in preflop with anything from 54o to AKs. I just decided to gamble. What would you have done?

    Results in white.

It´s really hard to put him on anything as he could have just about anything. Preflop, you´re likely to have the best hand, postflop is harder to say. However, you really can´t fold in that situation, if you could, you probably shouldn´t have called PF. Hell, I´d say you´re most likely to have the best hand at the flop. In a ring game, it would be the easiest call, but in a tourney, I don´t know. It depends on where you are in the game and things like that. With a small stack, close to desperate, I would see a chance to double up. With the biggest stack, I would see a chance to bring in some easy extra chips without risking too much. In this situation, I think it´s bad. It looks like you are playing in the bubble and you´re second in stack size. In this situation, the chip leader isn´t exactly the guy you want to mess with. I´d stay out of the hand and try to get the other two loonies bust out before trying anything risky.

EDIT: I misread your hand, thought you pushed pre-flop. I would have come over him early and make him make the decision. Do not ever call half your stack in a tourney except for deception with a monster.

Good call playing the hand agains the nutball, just not the way I would have.

Yep, the way you put it, that guy's an idiot, and AQo will dominate him in *most* situations.

    Good call.
