Default Was this the right play?

Not a lot of money in this game, I'm just wondering how people would have played this.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (7 handed) converter

    Hero ($1.95)
    SB ($3.28)
    BB ($3.72)
    UTG ($5.05)
    MP1 ($4.89)
    MP2 ($1.20)
    CO ($2.20)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 6, 6.
    UTG calls $0.02, MP1 raises to $0.06, MP2 calls $0.06, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.06, SB calls $0.05, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.04.

    Flop: ($0.32) J, 2, 3 (5 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets $0.3, SB folds, UTG folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds.

    Final Pot: $0.62

    Results in white below:
    No showdown. Hero wins $0.62.

    himself fucker.
    You won the pot.

You can't build a pot with second pair so that tactic is out the window and you probably have the best hand at that time so checking would be wrong.

Looks like you did everything right.

to quote what rilla said...you won the pot....you won...everyone checked, you bet and they folded. with 66 there are tons of hands that could beat you and by throwin out that bet you eliminated anyone who could have a caught a hand to take the pot from you on the turn or river, whereas you would not have taken the pot.
