Default What did I step in this time?

100NL fishing hole. I have $150 and my table image sucks.

    Horrible limps UTG.
    Mediocre/bad player min-raises from EP ($120ish)
I think this guy read some limit books, not much of a grasp of No Limit
I put his range at any pair (might have limped the really small ones), any 2 broadways (smaller ones likely suited), suited Ace. I've been calling his raises with pretty good cards and out-playing him post-flop, however he's opening a wide enough range that I feel it's time to re-take the initative with some of my stronger hands.
I bump it up to $6 from MP with A Q
Folds around to the min-raiser who pops it back to $12
    I call.

Flop is Q-rag-rag, no clubs. $25ish in the pot
Opponent bets like $20 ish and I call.

Turn is a brick, $65ish in the pot.
Opponent bets another $20 or so and I call.

    River is a Jack
Opponent checks and I check behind.

How'd I do? Anyone bet the river?

I think the check-behind is good. Win/lose a medium pot here as he's either pushing or folding to a bet. Looks like he has AK though.

At what point in the hand do you put him on AK? Any other holdings that fit his betting pattern? Anyone fold at any point?

I feel like you gave him 2 free cards. You must have been real confient he had a mid PP. I raise that flop to $50, and you'll find out real quick if he hit a set or draw/bluff.

The way it was played, I definetly check behind on the river.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

If I'm ahead, how many outs does he have? How big of a mistake is just calling vs the potential to draw bets from a hand I'm really far ahead of?

He c-bet the flop, then bet weaker on the turn (worried you called) and then checked the river when he missed his A or K.

I really hate this hand. I am torn between folding the turn (AA or KK) and raising the turn (AK). As played, I probably do just as you did and call down.
Why the hell would he min raise with AA,KK or AK? Anyway...
The fact that he has lots of money behind and doesn't put it out there leads me to a busted AK. AA or KK would bet harder on the turn.

Free 1 year of WoW if you can name his exact cards minus suites (1 entry per person per 24 hours). Offer good until I post results.

I like Irish's answer and I'm thinking TT as well - but since it's taken we'll go 1 lower and say he has

    Downswinging holla!
Usually a min-raise is a sign on strength from a weak player, and my first instinct was AA or KK. After the flop he's following up with his pre-flop aggression which doesn't mean much. He makes the same bet on fourth street which screams weakness, because AA or KK would fire another near potsized bet out there. I now think he has AK, JJ-99. The river check would entice me to make a small bet so that he's priced into calling with any pair, and if he raises then I'll probably have to fold, but I don't think he would risk a cheap showdown by checking a made hand, so I'd bet right out.
