As played, you have to call, too much of your stack is invested.

I would raise a little more PF (to $6-$7 probably), and get it in on a safe flop (no A or Q).

his call was fine pre-flop if he had one of those pairs. he didn't just call $5 flat remember. you 3-bet him which said you liked your hand. it was just a bit more than a min-raise and he thought he could stack you if he hit (If he had one of those pairs). but 1/2 your stack is in so you gotta call here i think...

    good thoughts...

are you guys just saying call because I have only $11.65 left? What if I had $40 left? Would your opinions be different then?

Yes, you are right but I have rarely seen raise 8x the BB in EP with 22/33/66

Where oh where did my reply go? Anyway, I'd expect to see JJ-AA here more often than a set on 25NL. Not many people raise up 66 or lower this hard UTG+1 at this level.

    Insta-call

With $40 behind you may find a fold though.

    k ty for the insight.

I called and he had QQ. I thought he had JJ or QQ and was praying for no AA although I thought if he had AA he mite have re-raised pf after i made it $5 to go.
