Check. What's he gonna call a bet with? Show down and hope you hold up.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I did check, but what do you think about my play for the rest of the hand?

Depends on your opponents preflop range. Is he capable of calling with a 4? Generally speaking, you played the whole hand too passively given a reasonable range. I would have played for stacks a lot before the river, and would have been sucked out by any dog Q.

What's guble's turn bet say to you? There is a lot of information there, but I would need to put in the context of his profile. If I think this is a Queen, I would re-raise to $50 right there.

Yeah like Fnord said hammer the turn. River is a standard check behind.

How you played the hand depends on what you put villain on.

I would have put him on the Q or 77-JJ, Ax also possible though less likely to minraise. So in that case, calling his flop minraise is fine because if you reraise he's just folding. Nothing wrong with ending the hand here though, as you are still vulnerable to another Q or A...so I think a reraise by you is typical in this spot.

His turn bet is less than how much he committed on the flop...he's looking for a cheap showdown now...so he's not going to call much on the end - you can value bet another $10-15...though I would tend to just check-behind and figure I'd gotten as much as I could outta the guy and if I'm beat I want to find out for free, though it's pretty doubtful here.

If you really think he's got a 4 - then you can give a big river bet a shot to chase him off since it appears that you have AQ as far as he knows. I might do that if I've had a few drinks.

I would be looking to stack this guy - hit the turn hard...that bet is just looking to be raised...easy check on the river.

We're not given enough information to know how much money he'll call off with Qx. Hence, I'm inclined to go big. Too many players at this level will stack off with it.

    *** SUMMARY ***
    Pot: $76.50 | Rake: $2
    Board: [ 4d 4s Qh 6h Qs ]
    *SMZ* lost $0.50 (folded)
gumble420 bet $38, collected $76.50, net +$38.50 (showed hand) [ Qc Ac ] (a full house, queens full of fours)
    arnek lost $2 (folded)
    Deracho didn't bet (folded)
Ugly Ed lost $38 [ Kc Kh ] (two pair, kings and queens)

The 4s did have me alittle bit scared to bet to much. I see alot of ppl that will call good size PF raise with A4s. He obviously wasnt afraid of them. So I was hoping to see another K then go all in. Although after seeing his hand. I figure he would have easily called all in here at anytime.

Hmmmm...that quote from me is referring to the river betting (or lack thereof) - not the turn - I agree with you that a turn substantial reraise is standard...

Betting this river is really silly.

Lol - I must be drunk already or something - yes it is ...
