Default Where did I go wrong?

QQ is my least profitable hand so far, I just can't win with it

Should I have raised more pre flop, bet post flop or what? I threw out the dollar and figured he would raise if he had the fourth jack or fold. I probably should have called anyway, what are the odds that someone had the fourth jack?

You've got two raises ahead of you. You need to narrow the field
to one plr; also you may be up against KK or AA. What to do?

You either call and hope for a ragged flop or a set of Q or you raise.

In this case I would have gone all in and gambled.

If someone has KK or AA you are out of luck and you go off and lick
your wounds. QQ is vulnerable. You can't carry it off against more
than one or (MAX) two plrs.

The odds that someone had the 4rth Jack are only 2/45 once you've
seen the river. He pulled off a good semi-bluff against you.

I thought he might have a jack or a high pair since he made the first raise PF. Why the hell would he raise with A7o *mad*. At least I won the money back when I was on a slight tilt but I was about to kick myself hard when I saw what he had.

He saw weakness in your $1 bet. He figured: $1 is nuttin' - I got my 7 paired and he got AK so I take him money wit a nice semi-bluff. Yumm. He doesn't know you have QQ.

Re-raise pre-flop. Raise the flop, push the turn.

There are a couple factors to consider here:

    1. This is the micros... people are raising and re-raising some very questionable cards. You have a real hand, so raise it.

    2. The first raise was a min-raise which means diddly. That guy could have anything. And because it was a min-raise, the re-raiser could have anything too.

In this situation I'd consider the very real probability that I had the best hand pre-flop, and re-raise any raise in front of me. You also may narrow the field somewhat, which is something you really should be doing with pocket queens - a good but vulnerable hand if people are calling with A-crap and K-crap.

The purpose of you re-raising pre-flop would be to isolate, or at least narrow the field. By just calling you allowed 3 others(4 counting you) to see the flop. (5th guy was already all in)

I'd agree with dalecooper here. A re-raise pre-flop could have taken at least 1-2 more of the 4 *active* players out of the hand.

    himself fucker.
Re-raise to isolate, consider folding to a push by an opponent you can give credit to.
