i guess this is a pretty dumb question, now that I look back at it, i really should have folded. what other hands could he possibly have played like this? i dunno, been swimmin in the damn aquarium too long...

Probably the main reason I wouldn't call it is not only could he have you beat with AK, AA, KK, TT, but the board is also straight friendly, even though QJ is an unlikely holding. I cant really see him playing this hand as aggressively preflop and postflop with AQ or AJ on that board.

But knowing me, if I was in that situation I prolly would've called too...

I would fold there. Hard to do, but it seems extremely likely that he has you beat. There's almost no hand that you're ahead of that he might play that way.

unless this guy is re raising continually calling his re raise with A10 is going to be a losing play most of the time IMHO. Unless you flop two pair you hate your hand - and here you even hate you hand WITH two pair. KQJ flops don't come often enough.

normally when someone reraises a 4xBB raiser preflop like that, you can guess its a high pocket pair, i would fold to his preflop reraise, you are out of position against the raiser with a mediocre hand, you tried to take down the blinds, it back fired, now get out of the hand.. also i fold ATo preflop in that position .. i'll raise from the button with it tho.

when you reraise him on the flop and he pushes, its probably safe to let it go.
