Do you want critical analysis on this hand?

If not, it's a Tale of Poker.

There is a Q on the turn. KQ = a pair of queens.

Apparently he didnt think as far as putting you on something

Okay, yeah, now I'm just stumped. I'm not sure what he could possibly be beating.

I'll beat you a lot of time A high is good against Rippy's maniacal aggression. I also bet you that this villain is on tilt after playing a few orbits against him. *boggle* i do not understand either of your plays on the flop/turn, if it wasnt for your consistent tournament success i would suspect that this hand was played at the penny tables by two people just learning whats what in NL holdem.

LOL, this post is appropriately titled...

Rip, damn good read, it takes some balls to wager your stack on ace high. The other guy is just crazy to think his A9 is good here.

haha yeah it's funny when they go on this kind of tilt and feel they have to play back at you with anything. Had a similar hand saved from a couple of months ago

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    SB ($78)
    BB ($233.60)
    Hero ($264.85)
    MP ($60.40)
    CO ($192.85)
    Button ($133.10)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, Q.
Hero raises to $6, MP raises to $10, 4 folds, Hero raises to $26, MP calls $16.

    Flop: ($55) 8, 4, 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $34, MP calls $34.

    Turn: ($123) 8 (2 players)
    Hero bets $4, MP calls $0.40 (All-In).

    River: ($127.40) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: $127.40

    Results in white below:
Hero has Ad Qd (one pair, eights).
MP has Jh Qc (one pair, eights).
    Outcome: Hero wins $127.39.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Bingo. As per some of my other comments, this is why you can't just tell rippy to play the way he plays but not so loose. Not (m)any players get calls from a worse hand here.

I saw the ripp get blasted numerous times pushing with uglier crap than this ... $10 here, $15 there. And I also saw a lot of this kind of thing, too.

    Was his chat banned?

If he could needle people without getting his chat banned or provoking them into leaving it could translate into more $$$bling$$$ for him. No one is better at putting the table coaches on tilt.
