I don't mean to be disrespectful or anything but I wouldn't call the way you played that hand "solid." He had good enough cards to call your raise and then flopped two pair. You said you were tired of people not respecting raises but it seems to me that you didn't respect his raise. When he came over the top of you like that it just screems that he has a hand. You gotta up him on AQ or QQ or something big. I know you had top pair and top kicker but sometimes you just have to lay those hands down. He checked raised you and then went all in. You gotta think you are beat at that point. I know its hard to let good hands go but its something that must be learned to help protect your bankroll.
