In this thread I added you ideas--->http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...pic.php?t=6816
BB is holding: [Ks, 4s] Flush, Ace high, King kicker.
You are holding: [6s, 7s] Flush, Ace high, Ten kicker.
Limper was holding: [Th, 8h]
BB was slowplaying his King high flush... Very tough to see through...
He tries a check-raise on the river...
Limper did a doubtful call in the previous example hoping to catch the full-house. He will fold to a higher raise...
Conclutions:
Raising Pre-flop in the previous example (as one of you suggested) would have made BB to fold his K4s. But is that a longterm win-strategy??? Against small suited connectors you want a lot of players, and large stacks, in the pot, right?!
Checking on the river in the previous example (as another guy suggested) would have been the next best idea. But once again... Is that a good read or a luckey guess? What's best in real life?
Or maybe... WAS THIS JUST A BAD BEAT and raising is still the best option on the river....
